Honestly, I feel like I understand Elizabethan English better. Weird, huh.Dina Sleimanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05214446103057806111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4405728521414052211.post-40505769097935953012010-01-07T09:18:13.966-08:002010-01-07T09:18:13.966-08:00As for Austen . . . I read my first (P&P) in college, and promptly bought a complete works, read most of them, then stalled in EMMA when I kept hearing the lines from Clueless in my head at every turn, lol.

I'm also a sucker for the ABA Regencies that, I know, are SO not accurate to social customs . . . still. I can't help it. I love 'em.

So I really, really fell in love with Linore's stories when I first got Before the Season Ends. She managed to combine the genuine feel of the era (like Austen [obviously]) with the friendly, easy style of the ABA books, but with a sweet message of faith too. Ah, bliss. =)Roseanna Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02245767775900250399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4405728521414052211.post-77953303573139912932010-01-03T17:32:58.869-08:002010-01-03T17:32:58.869-08:00Hi Melanie and Susanne.
